Brockville Concert Band

REHEARSALS	MEMBERSHIP
Rehearsals start promptly at 7:00 pm and end by 9:00 pm, Tuesday evenings at 280 Ormond St., Brockville, ON. Plan to arrive 20 minutes early to warm up and to help set up. It is helpful for you and the Band if you can attend every week but the Musical Directors recognize that this is not always possible. If you are going to miss a rehearsal, please email Judy or Chris by 5:00 pm on rehearsal day, so that the Musical Directors can plan and assign parts. It is not necessary to say why you are away.	A prospective first-time Member may attend two rehearsals for free, and may then become a Member by paying dues of $65.00 for their first membership year as well as purchasing a band shirt. The BCB encourages anyone with an interest in playing with the Band to join us, regardless of financial situation. The Band owns a few instruments for loan to members.
Please: - do not wear scented products such as cologne, perfume or after-shave to rehearsals or performances - do not bring tea or coffee into the rehearsal building - do pay attention to the Musical Directors, to your own music, and to the music being played around you - put away your chair, music stand, and music folder at the end of the evening.	Dues for 2024-2025 season: $125.00 per person per year (September - August), payable by the first rehearsal in September to the Treasurer, Jennifer Bulloch (tenor sax). Payment can be made by e-transfer to treasurer@bcband.ca, by cash, or by cheque (made out to “Brockville Concert Band”). Dues may be paid in two installments: $65.00 by the first rehearsal in September and $60.00 by the first rehearsal in January. Please speak with a Musical Director in confidence if you need flexibility with paying your dues.
